The original Hunting Gate and a series of investment companies were founded near London, England in 1946. In the U.K., these companies have engaged in a broad range of real estate-related activities, including commercial and residential development, construction, management, and investment. A local executive team is responsible for the operation of the U.K. companies. Currently, these companies focus on real estate investment and property management.
Established in California in 1976 to invest in California real estate, Hunting Gate Investments, Inc. shares the Hunting Gate name with the U.K. companies, but is a separate legal entity.
Following the acquisition and development of a private property portfolio
in northern California, Hunting Gate Investments, Inc. created the HG
Capital funds as a separate legal entity to better serve the increasing
demand for private equity finance. Since its creation, HG Capital has
provided equity and participating debt to support real estate projects
with an aggregate completed value in excess of $1.5 billion.
